Note: By accepting the invoice provided by Little Miss Vintage and paying the deposit, you are unconditionally agreeing to these Terms at Conditions of Hire.

HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Little Miss Vintage will supply to the customer the goods and services as outlined in the quote/ invoice provided.

Deposit

The customer agrees to pay a NON refundable 50% deposit of the total goods and services price. This is to secure the customer’s booking date and to enter into the agreement of service.

Price

The contract price inclusive of all goods and services to be supplied by Little Miss Vintage to the customer is due and payable (Initially just the deposit) upon Little Miss Vintage providing the customer with an invoice. The pending amount after the deposit is to be Paid in full no later than 1 week prior to the event. If full payment is not received by the due date, cancellation of booking will proceed.

Damage, Lost, Stolen or unclean equipment or furniture.

The client accepts liability for any damage to the property of Little Miss Vintage as a result of the use of the property by the customer and/or his or her guests. The customer agrees that if the item cannot be repaired or replaced to an adequate standard to re-hire then 4 times the total hire amount for that item is due from the customer to Little Miss Vintage for compensation.

The Client shall protect the equipment from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions, storage of the equipment may be necessary and is the responsibility of the Client to see that the equipment is stored safely. Any equipment damaged from the weather is the full responsibility of the Client and full replacement cost will be incurred.

Cleaning

All items hired are to be returned as they were given. Any extra cleaning of items will incur an additional cleaning fee. This includes wax spilled in candle holders etc. The cost for this will be determined by the time needed to return the items to the condition in which they were supplied by Little Miss Vintage to the customer. An invoice for this additional fee will be sent by Little Miss Vintage to the customer within 7 days after the hire and is to be paid by the customer within 7 days after receiving the invoice.

Conditions of Delivery, set up and installation of hire items

a. Hire item prices do not include delivery, collection, set-up or installation unless specified by Little Miss Vintage.

b. The delivery and installation fees vary depending on the location of the event and the items contained on the order. This fee may be subject to change should the Client alter the order, location of the event or amount of equipment to be delivered and/or set up.

c. Unless a setup and/or installation fee has been noted and charged to the Client on the order and agreed upon by Little Miss Vintage, LMV is not responsible for the setup and or/installation of equipment.

d. Should extra labour be required under any circumstances on delivery or collection, additional charges will apply.

e. The Client agrees to ensure that any site specified on the hire agreement will be clear of obstructions to allow Little Miss Vintage to erect, install or place the hire equipment safely. Whilst all care will be taken, Little Miss Vintage will not accept responsibility for any damage to water, gas, electricity and telephone cables or property. Any repairs will be at the Client’s expense.

f. A detailed floor plan/set up guidelines must be provided to Little Miss Vintage by the Client no later than 7 days prior to the event date for any on the day set up. Any on the day changes to these floor plans will incur additional labour charges.

g. Hire items are to be ready for collection, by the Client, in original packaging provided, and placed in one location for Little Miss Vintage to collect. If Little Miss Vintage staff members are required to pack down the equipment without prior arrangement, an additional fee may incur. Should any hire items be inaccessible (ie. in a locked venue) by Little Miss Vintage staff upon collection, further fees may incur.

h. A fuel surcharge may be applied to delivery and collections fees depending on fluctuations in the price of fuel.

Cancellation

Little Miss Vintage and the customer agree that either party can cancel the agreement of Hire by giving the other party no less than (4) four week’s notice in writing of their intention to do so. If the customer cancels the agreement, they unfortunately forfeit their initial 50% deposit paid. If for some unforeseen reason Little Miss Vintage needs to cancel the agreement, the initial deposit will be returned immediately.

Events beyond control

Neither party shall be liable to the other party for any loss caused by any failure to observe the terms and conditions of this agreement, where such failure is occasioned by causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to by fire, flood, riot, strike, war, restrictions and prohibitions unavailability of products or any other actions by any government or semi government authorities.

When agreeing to these terms and conditions, it is with the understanding from the customer that hire items do on occasion and wherever avoidable get damaged and may no longer be available to hire. Little Miss Vintage will do what is possible within their power to supply an alternative choice.

Indemnity

The customer unconditionally and irrevocably indemnifies Little Miss Vintage against any and all damages and losses to persons or property, and all costs and expenses which are incurred by or claimed from Little Miss Vintage in relation to the supply of goods and services as per the provisions of this agreement.

This indemnity continues until the activity creating the risk of loss comes to an end.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By paying deposit The hirer/client hereby unconditionally accepts the above terms and conditions and acknowledges that its acceptance is a condition precedent to taking possession of the goods/services/hire equipment from the owner.
